I’ve been drooling over the Alexander Wang Andi suede and glossed leather ankle boots. My plan was, finding and buying them in Miami, due to the fact that they are cheaper in the US, because of the all time low dollar, lower taxes and of course Alexander Wang being an american product. The only unforeseen problem: they were nowhere to be found.

However once I’m set on something, I am determined to get it. And to my luck, in Barneys CO-OP Miami, I found David, a truly amazing SP who knows what great service is all about! Even though the Miami department doesn’t hold shoes, he found them in their flagship store in Beverly Hills and had them shipped to Miami ASAP just for me!!!

………….

I was wearing jersey Isabel Marant, pu-leather pencil skirt Topshop, bag Jerome Dreyfuss bobi phyton and booties Alexander Wang.

I’m not too excited about the January sale. Too crowded, never finding my size, and the slight chance of getting caught up in the hype; ending up buying stuff I normally wouldn’t go for – just because it’s 50% off. No, I am much comfier, sitting in my own living room with a hot cup of thee, going through the web-shops on my Mac. That gives me the time I need to consider if it REALLYis something I want or if it’s just the sale – panic rearing it’s ugly head.

I’ve ended up with this beautiful necklace from Venessa Arizaga called ” Time at sea”. It was marked down by 70% at Net-a-porter, so I reckon that equals a bargain. I think it will look amazing teamed up with a white tee, a jersey sweater or a simple knit .

What about you guys?? Which bargains have you made?

To state the obvious; I am not the beholder of a specifically colorful wardrobe. I stay true to my black, grey, navy and neutrals. Although I must admit, I have a weakness for the  playful and childlike color; mint. Maybe because of my love for minty sweets, or maybe it’s just a reminder of my happy & carefree childhood.

Any who, I am in luck, due to the fact that pastels, including mint, is going to be huge this spring. Just take a look at Louis Vuittons ss12 campaign( picture 1)- mmmmmm….cotton candy heaven. Who can resist?? I sure can’t, which is why I had to bring this Acne Ry angora knit home after what was suppose to be just a peek through the window at Nué, Gammel Kongevej 111, Frederiksberg.

I know – I have NO backbone.
