My latest obsession is this amazing bag from the brand Boyy. The bag, named Slash entails the perfect combination of soft and slouchy luxuries leather exterior with a rough and sexy, rock n’ roll finish.

What makes this bag even more alluring is the brands origin and history.

The designer duo;  Wannasiri Kongman, fashion designer from Bangkok,Thailand and her partner, music producer, Jesse Dorsey from Montreal, Canada took the DIY-concept to a whole other level. No office, no marketing or PR-staff, no factory and no other seamstress but Wannasiri herself. Just the two of them, a lot of hard work, talent and a bit of luck.

When Wannasiri was studying fashion in NY, she, as every other student, didn’t have the liquidity to buy a designer bag, so she made one herself. Never could she have expected the overwhelming respond her creation received  from people on the streets of NY and even from a former Marie Claire fashion editor, asking Wannasiri if she could make a similar bag for her. WowZa!

Lou Dillon – also a fan

For me, another fun fact about the bags are their names. In an interview Wannasiri Kongman stated that she uses boy-names for her bags, because she loves the idea of always having her boyfriend by her side – how cute is that!

Well, anywho. The Boyy brand is not exactly easy to get a hold of here in Scandinavia, but I know for a fact that  Zornig at Gammel Kongevej will be getting them this spring, and who do you think is already on the waiting list …

I have written about it before, and I probably will again….my love for Alexander McQueen, first of all the man, but also the brand. The death of McQueen is, in my opinion, one of the biggest losses for fashion ever, but fortunately Sarah Burton understands how to keep the McQueen spirit alive. It is very obvious that the styles have become more feminine and less ‘l’enfant terrible’, but I still love every single piece – it is on another level and in another world, that I wish I could visit more often.

The ss12 collection is literally breathtaking. I just watched the show three times, and in a perfect world this would be my wardrobe for next summer.

Enjoy!

I have a HUGE dilemma, and I need your advice. I am on the hunt for a new coat, but…Should I go for the sensible choice or should I listen to the fashionista in me!??!

This coat is from the french brand Carven, and it has the perfect boyish fit. BUT, it is not the warmest alternative…

Or, should I go for this parka coat with rabbit fur hoodie from Lempelius. Warm, cozy & sensible.

Last but not least there’s this relaxed tweed coat from Vanessa Bruno.

HELP!!!
