Black is most definitely the most dominant color in my wardrobe, but lately different hues of grey have occupied increasingly more of its space.
In theory everything goes with black, but in reality I don’t always agree. Black can at times be too overpowering when teamed up with softer colors such as nudes and pale pastels, which is why I turn to grey. The color grey might have the reputation of being bland and boring, but in reality it is truly genius.
The color is known as the designers workhorse, because of its chameleon features. In other words, grey is the absolute must-have staple in everyone’s wardrobe due to it’s amazing capability to transform and to take on complementary hues once being juxtaposed to a different color.
And so I guess I must confess that my flirtatious behavior towards the frenemy of my faithful companion, Black, has turned into a full-blown romance.
